Hello everyone. Nice to see you here on my learning diary blog page. My name is Alyona Kelleci. I'm a teacher of English in Antalya, Turkey. And I'm interested in building friendship with foreign schools, not only for myself, but for my students, so that they will be able to communicate in English with students from different countries all over the world. I am not an ICT professional but I like learning new things and using technology. Now I am attending "The Networked Teacher – Teaching in the 21st Century" course on European Schoolnet Academy. Hope it will be useful for my professional development.
https://teacherchallenge.edublogs.org/pln-define/ The PLN consists of relationships between individuals where the goal is enhancement of mutual learning. The currency of the PLN is learning in the form of feedback, insights, documentation, new contacts, or new business opportunities. It is based on reciprocity and a level of trust that each party is actively seeking value-added information for the other. …the shift in nuance maintains that participants are both personal and professional learners. A PLN is a tool that uses social media and technology to collect, communicate, collaborate and create with connected colleagues anywhere at any time. Participating educators, worldwide, make requests and share resources. Now I know that I have a wide PLN with my collegues from school, etwinning contacts, Facebook friends and others
